| What happens if I fdisk my hda and hdb and give both the hda1 and hdb1 partitons bootable tags with the "a" command in fdisk, then insatll grub on both or lilo on on and grub on the other, or lilo on both? I ask this becuase i would like to install slckaware and since I intend to use to on other computers which dont have grub already installed (and since Slackware doesnt distrube a grub package) need to learn to use LiLo. It is possiable to chose which of the 2 (hda1 or hdb1) you will use as you boot? |

| I could be wrong, but I don't think so since only one can be installed to the master boot record (MBR). So, it's either Lilo or Grub. Neither is extremely difficult to lose, though. There's good documentation on how to setup each one in the Gentoo Handbook (on setting up the Bootloader). |
