Have you ever wondered how to set your Gentoo forums icon?

Login, go to | Profile | and scroll down to the bottom.
There you will see a couple of choices,

Upload Avatar from your machine:

Upload Avatar from a URL:

Select Avatar from gallery:

"Select Avatar from gallery:" is the easyone, just browse and choose.

"Upload Avatar from a URL:" Just find the pic on the net and paste it's URL here.

The cool one, is to make or choose the one off of your own system. "Upload Avatar from your machine:" Click the floder button and you will be able to browse what you have on your box already. If you want to find some cool icons, do "locate -u" then "locate icon" or "locate *.png", that's how I setup mine. Or maybe you would like to open babygimp and make your own icon. You have full control here.

hat is called 'avatar' and I think almost everybody should know how to set it up.
