During boot up, my gentoo box waist a lot of time on hotplug : it perform a dhcp broadcast which wait until timeout. The box is setup as a dhcp server, so no other dhcp should be found on the LAN. eth0 is set as static. During the boot process, the eth0 is up before the hotplug. How can I stop hotplug to do this?
