I ran partimage backup program on my "/" filesystem, but after running a check first with e2fsck, it found errors in my filesystem. Searching around i found the command "e2fsck -p" for repairing the filesystem. However, i got a warning telling that i should unmount my filesystem first. How can i unmount "/" ? I don't think there is a way? Or is it? Also can somebody explain what kind of errors has possibly "efsck" run into? |

Boot from a CD, run fsck from there.
