So had an update this morning for portage (sys-apps/portage-2.3.84-r1 -> sys-apps/portage-2.3.89)
So I ran the upgrade, then did an emerge -pv @world to make sure things were cleaned up
and all of a sudden gtk+3 was trying to be pulled in (NS)
I checked with the -t option and it claimed that an old version of ghostscript was pulling in gtk+3 (long been satisfied with gtk+2)
Downgrading to sys-apps/portage-2.3.84-r1 made the want to be, emerge of gtk+3 go away.
Anyone else updated to this version of portage and seen oddness?
Edit to add: Looks like the cuprit is this (from the ghostscript ebuild)
Code: | gtk? ( || ( x11-libs/gtk+:3 x11-libs/gtk+:2 ) ) |
portage-2.3.84-r1 evidently knows that gtk+2 satisfies the above but portage-2.3.89 can't figure it out. _________________ UM780, 6.14 zen kernel, gcc 13, openrc, wayland |

Yeah, had similar issues. For me reinstalling the depending packages (ghostscript in your case) solved the problem. _________________ gentoo repos: kakoune | oil | hyper-v |
